About Apostleship of Prayer: League of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The heart is the centre of the human body from where every act is nursed and executed. It is the seat of love. God’s decision to save mankind was conceived in His divine heart, equally the decision by Jesus to accept death in the cross to save humanity also flowed from His heart. Accordingly, the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the seat of God’s incomprehensible love and inexhaustible mercy.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ himself requested for the devotion to His heart. In His various apparitions to St Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1673 to 1675 the Lord Jesus specified every detail of the devotion: one hour devotion on Thursdays, the red and white uniform, including the feast of Sacred Heart were some of His specific instructions to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque for the devotion.

This is why the Apostleship of Prayer, League of the Sacred Heart of Jesus should be embraced by everyone for a victorious Christian life.
