About the Catholic Women Organization (C.W.O.)

The Catholic Women Organization (C.W.O.) serves the church in evangelization, charity, empowerment of women and assists in the development of the church. Equally the C.W.O. renders services that assist our youths in receiving religious, political, social, and economic education.

We support the less privileged in our society and work to establish a strong relationship with other organisations within and outside the church. We support the total advancement of women geared towards self-reliance, and girl child education, and family education, and in general support the local church.

Our Vision: To promote the presence, participation, and co-responsibility of Catholic women in the church in order to enable them to fulfil their mission of evangelism and to work for human development.

Our Mission: To unite our members towards the fulfilment of their roles in the family, church, and society following the footsteps of Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ by defending the values of the Church thereby liberating the human person especially women and the vulnerable.
